About

Horticulture is a major part of Philippine agriculture: the science and art of cultivating flowers, vegetables, fruits, and ornamentals to support food and economic production. The society’s logo elements (logo PDF): orange land — area for flowers and ornamentals; green land — fruits and vegetables; brown ring — roots, development, and progress; three leaves — olericulture, pomology, and ornamental horticulture; shovel — cultivation and the aim to cultivate students’ minds in crop production and horticulture; orange sunset cloud — hope, resilience, and renewed beginnings for horticulture students facing challenges in agriculture.
Per the CBL preamble, the organization coordinates horticulture student activities, programs, and projects; promotes good relationships among students, faculty, and staff; and develops talents and skills in agriculture and horticulture. It is the official student organization for Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Major in Horticulture in the College of Agriculture.
