Student Code of Conduct

The University Student Council is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and conducive learning environment for all students. Our disciplinary policies ensure fairness, transparency, and due process in addressing student conduct matters.

Student Rights

  • Right to due process and fair hearing
  • Right to be informed of charges and evidence
  • Right to present evidence and witnesses
  • Right to appeal disciplinary decisions
  • Right to confidentiality of proceedings
  • Right to representation or advisor

Student Responsibilities

  • Comply with university policies and regulations
  • Respect the rights and dignity of others
  • Maintain academic integrity and honesty
  • Report violations of the student code
  • Participate in disciplinary proceedings when required
  • Accept responsibility for personal actions

Disciplinary Process

Report & Investigation

Incident is reported and preliminary investigation is conducted

Formal Hearing

Student is notified and formal hearing is scheduled

Decision & Appeal

Decision is rendered with option to appeal if necessary

Common Violations

  • Academic dishonesty and plagiarism
  • Harassment or discrimination
  • Disruptive behavior in class or campus
  • Violation of campus policies
  • Damage to university property
  • Unauthorized use of facilities

Possible Sanctions

  • Verbal or written warning
  • Community service hours
  • Probationary status
  • Suspension from activities
  • Temporary suspension
  • Expulsion (severe cases)
