The Institute of Arts and Sciences Student Council (IASSC) is the official student-led organization that represents the voice, interests, and welfare of students within the Institute of Arts and Sciences. It serves as a bridge between the student body and the administration, promoting open communication, active participation, and inclusive leadership. The council is committed to organizing academic, cultural, and community-based activities that enhance student development, foster creativity, and uphold the values of excellence, integrity, and service. Through collaborative initiatives and student-centered programs, the IASSC empowers students to become responsible, socially aware, and engaged members of the academic community.

Membership

Membership in the Institute of Arts and Sciences Student Council (IASSC) is open to all bona fide students enrolled in the Institute of Arts and Sciences. Every student is automatically considered a general member of the council and is encouraged to participate in its programs, activities, and initiatives.

Students who wish to take on a more active role may apply or run for official positions within the council, subject to the qualifications and guidelines set by the organization. Officers and committee members are expected to demonstrate leadership, responsibility, and commitment to serving the student body.

The IASSC promotes inclusive participation, ensuring that all members have the opportunity to voice their concerns, contribute ideas, and engage in activities that support academic growth, cultural enrichment, and community involvement.
